Sketches

I just got my scanner to work after a long time out of commission so I thought I'd upload a few sketches. There's a couple quick self portraits as studies for my oil painting class, some hands because, let's face it, they're good practice, and a deer. The scans are kinda crappy because I don't have photoshop on this computer yet. It's on my to do list.

Gemma Ward

Just a sketch for fun. It's the model Gemma Ward. I'm practicing this whole charicature thing, but I'm really not very good yet. :)

Ariel Coloring Practice

So this was just a little practice in coloring. I was trying something new à la Katie De Sousa who got the idea from somebody else. Katie's version is lovely and has a very nice style that I tried to emulate a bit. I found a coloring page online and colored it in Photoshop using Ophelia by Waterhouse for a color palette.

Anyways, this is the result.
